All-rounders on the captain matrix — why the column holds the highest floor.
All-rounders are the highest-floor column on the salary cap desk. The captain badge is usually carried by a top-order batter or a pace lead, but the all-rounder column holds the most reliable points-per-credit across fixture types.
Why the floor is so high
All-rounders post fantasy points in two columns simultaneously — batting and bowling. A first-baller who bats at 8 carries a small floor (5-10 points) and a high ceiling (40+) on a hot day. An all-rounder who bowls 4 overs and bats at 5 carries a stable 30-50 point floor on most matchups, with a much higher ceiling on hot days.
A high-floor pick in head-to-head formats beats a high-ceiling pick. A high-ceiling pick in mega leagues beats a high-floor pick. The all-rounder column lets you blend the two strategies by picking two all-rounders.
The marquee all-rounders
The marquee all-rounders on Player11's desk are Jadeja at 9.5 cr (CSK), Pandya at 9.5 cr (MI), Maxwell at 9.0 cr (RCB), and Stoinis at 9.0 cr (LSG, prior). The marquee picks are usually locked into every XI — their floor is too high to drop, their ceiling is too high to pass.
The differential all-rounders
The differential all-rounders are where the swings happen. Nitish Reddy (SRH) at 7.5 cr, Abdul Samad (SRH) at 7.0 cr, Shashank Singh (PBKS) at 7.5 cr, and Shahbaz Ahmed (RCB) at 7.0 cr. Differential all-rounders return +20+ fantasy points on a hot day and -5 on a quiet day — the high-variance profile is what makes them differentials.
A differential pick only counts when the ownership is low. If a differential all-rounder is owned by more than 25% of the field on a given match, drop them from the differential list and treat them as a captain-candidate.
All-rounders carrying the captain badge
The all-rounder column is the most likely place to find the captain badge outside the top-order batters. Jadeja at the Wankhede is the canonical example — a turning track, frontline spinner, and a hot form window push his floor and ceiling together. The captain badge on Jadeja swings a 50-point innings into a 100-point innings.

All-rounder column final reads
Player11's all-rounder column reads balance ceiling and floor. The ceiling pick on most matchups is Jadeja (when in form and on a turning track). The floor pick on most matchups is Pandya (when in form and finishing innings). The differential pick on most matchups is Maxwell (when in form and on a flat track).
Read the captain matrix first, then fit the all-rounder column inside the 100-cr cap. Two marquee all-rounders carry the highest ceiling floor combination. One marquee and one differential is the standard XI.
